New website for Cyprus women in business

The mission of www.cyprusbusinesswomen.com aims to generate global awareness for women in business in Cyprus, promoting business opportunities, including a directory of women in business, which is free to register. The aim is to create a comprehensive database of women running businesses or working for themselves in a wide range of occupations.
“We believed there is a place for a dynamic business network to provide business opportunities and to support the growing number of women who run their own businesses and work in existing organisations here in Cyprus,” said Margaret Efstathiou, Cyprus Video Portal and Janice Ruffle, instigator of the Female Entrepreneur Award, both avid supporters of women in business worldwide and site instigators.
Once established, the global link for as many women in business groups around the world will evolve and expand business opportunities, contacts and knowledge base. The site has opportunities for sponsorship and advertising packages.
