Creditinfo Cyprus, ICPAC sign online services deal

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and Creditinfo Cyprus have signed an agreement that will enable all the members to use Creditinfo’s services through the Institute website.

ICPAC members are regarded as heavy users of services such us Credit and Detrimental Reports and Structure Reports for Cyprus-registered companies.

The new agreement allows ICPAC members the option to subscribe to the electronic services of Creditinfo Cyprus at a lower rate than the public. It will also help the members of ICPAC to gather any information they wish about companies in Cyprus and abroad and exchange information among them through the electronic databases.

Creditinfo has computerized the structure of the registered companies in Cyprus enabling its subscribers, from the luxury of their office, to have immediate access to any detail they need. It is also the official correspondent of Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) in Cyprus, the largest company in the world which specializes in credit reports and advises business and individuals before any major financial decision.

Another advantage that ICPAC members will benefited from, is the Default Debtors Database (DDD), an electronic database of information that contains all bankruptcies, and stages of bankruptcies, of physical and legal entities. The DDD also contains information of unpaid claims and bounced checks.

The agreement is for one year with an option for an annual renewal. ICPAC has more than 2000 members currently, but this number is increasing steadily with around 200 Cypriot accounting students graduating from various institutions every year.

The agreement was signed by ICPAC General Manager Theodoros Phillipou and the Managing Director of Creditinfo Cyprus Theodoros Kringou in the presence of ICPAC Deputy Treasurer Marios Skandalis and the Chairman of the IT and Business Consulting Committee of the Institute, Nicholas Shiakallis. Also present on behalf of Creditinfo Cyprus, were the Marketing and Sales Manager Lefteris Eleftheriou and the Senior Business Development Executive Nicos Ioannou.
