KES College, one of the most successful career-oriented educational centres in Cyprus, has introduced its first post-graduate programme as of the current academic year, the Master in Business Administration (MBA).
After 54 years of providing vocational and undergraduate courses to thousands of students who have secured jobs or promotions, the KES MBA has just been accredited by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA).
The introduction of the MBA Programme is part of the college’s strategic vision for cultivating skills, innovation and response to the current demands of the labour market. It is aimed at professionals seeking to strengthen their managerial and leadership skills, equipping them for advancement and the assumption of senior positions in the private or public sector.
The addition of its first postgraduate programme since the school was founded in 1971 by Theodoros Stylianou, initially with secretarial studies, marks a new chapter of growth and progress for both the institution and its students.
“The completion of the evaluation and accreditation process for the MBA by CYQAA represents a significant milestone in the academic journey of the college and a testament to the recognition of its quality standards,” said Dr. Vasias Vassiliadis, Director of Academic Affairs at KES College.
“It also marks the first crucial step in our expansion into prost-grad programmes, which has long been a goal of the administration and a shared aspiration of the college’s academic community,” he said.
The programme provides a solid foundation for career advancement and contributes to the development of the Cypriot labour market by preparing professionals to excel and meet the contemporary needs of the business community.
The KES College’s main directions of study at its central Nicosia campus are the School of Health Studies, the School of Culinary Arts, Hospitality and Tourism, the School of Journalism and Media Studies, the School of Business and Administration Studies and the School of Environmental Studies. It also offers a Foundation Programme.
It also operates the KES Research Centre, conducting independent applied research for industry and innovation programmes, and the KES Training Centre, that continues to provide market-demand vocational training for specific areas of the economy.
KES is a member of the European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB) working towards enhancing vocation education across Europe and across the world.
