The Cyprus Space Exploration Organisation (CSEO) and the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute have agreed to cooperate in the field of space exploration.

This is expected to expand Cyprus` cooperation with Canada in high-tech space technologies and enhance competitiveness in new fields of research, technology and international relations.

The CSEO believes the agreement is expected to further enhance space diplomacy in Cyprus.

Part of the agreement covers technological research and development, science, innovation, education, entrepreneurship and space initiatives.

CSEO President George Danos said: "Our mission to place Cyprus on the map of space exploration and to distinguish our country in high technologies, with all the social and economic benefits for Cyprus, something we have already achieved and continue to build".
