Cyprus Post Offices will be delivering children’s letters to Santa Claus again this year and sending back his replies.

This year Cyprus Post supported by CYTA which has set up an online service for children wanting to send a Christmas wish list to Santa.

All parents have to do is post the little ones’ details at www.post2santa.com and Santa will reply with a festive letter posted in a Christmas envelope.

The whole service is entirely free and will be available up until 17 December – so get writing.

Cyprus’ postal services have set up a special ‘task force’ to deal with Santa mail.

Last the year the team answered to some 14,000 children who sent letters to Santa either my mail or through the web-based platform used then.

Meanwhile, the country’s postal service has asked people to send their Holiday correspondence in time so that the service will be able to deliver packages to locations in Cyprus and abroad for Christmas.

Priority B foreign mail, postal items (letters, Christmas cards, parcels, etc.) should be mailed until December 11, while Priority A (letters, Christmas cards, parcels, etc.) by December 14, 2018 .

For domestic correspondence, Priority B postal items should be posted by 14 December and Priority A postal items by 18 December.

Any mail items posted after these dates maybe be delivered after Christmas or even New Year as the postal service is overloaded with parcels during this festive period.
