Pipeline linking Cyprus and Greece “technically feasible”, Greek Minister says

A feasibility study for the Eastern Mediterranean Pipeline will soon start, the Greek Minister for the Environment and Energy Yiannis Maniatis said in Athens.

The pipeline will start from Cyprus` hydrocarbon reserves and end to EU markets, passing through Greece, the Minister said.
He added that natural gas from the Eastern Mediterranean region provides a good source for Europe`s security of supply.
