Cyprus' Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a revised travel advice for Thailand.

Cypriot citizens who are permanent residents or intend to travel to Thailand, are advised "to avoid all but essential travel to the country”.
It further adds that following the events of the 22nd of May 2014 in Thailand, the army has imposed martial law while a curfew is in place between 22:00 and 5:00 and banned political gatherings.
With regard to the above it explains that the curfew does not apply to people travelling to or from airport and that the military has arrested some participants for failing to comply with orders to cease protest activity.
