Cyprus President Anastasiades to visit Germany in May

Government Spokesman Christos Stylianides confirmed today that the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades has received an invitation from the Chancellor of Germany to visit the country.

In remarks to reporters in London, on the sidelines of the visit of the President of the Republic to the United Kingdom, Stylianides, when asked to comment on information that the President had received an invitation to visit Germany, replied: “I confirm that an invitation has already been sent by the German Government for a visit by the President of the Republic to Germany in early May, and this invitation comes from the Chancellor Mrs Merkel.”
