Hermes Airports was delighted to welcome on Saturday, 02 November 2013 the new easyJet route connecting Liverpool with Larnaka for the first time.

The route will include two scheduled flights per week. The flights will be operated every Tuesday and Saturday. To welcome the flight, Hermes organized a hospitality event for the passengers of the flight in collaboration with the Cyprus Tourism Organisation. To the sounds of traditional Cypriot music, easyJet’s arriving passengers were given a warm welcome at Larnaka International Airport, whilst the foreign visitors had the chance to taste traditional sweets and koumandaria.

Commenting on the new easyJet route, the Chief Executive Officer of Hermes Airports, Mr. Wes Porter said: "We welcome the new easyJet route to Cyprus. We are very happy with the airline’s decision to link Cyprus directly through Larnaka with Liverpool. The important connections created through these two great destinations were helped by the well-established global airport operator, Vantage Airports Group, who owns Liverpool John Lennon Airport and is a Hermes Shareholder. We are confident that the traveling public will embrace this route and take advantage of easyJet’s amazing deals".
