Important personalities at the Global Russia Business Meeting
With the participation of over 300 personalities from 40 countries, the international meeting “Global Russia Business Meeting 2013” begins on Sunday and wraps on Monday night in Limassol. The Meeting is under the auspices of the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, and hosted by the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA). It is organised by Horasis Global Visions Community.
The number but also the level of the attendees sends the clear message that despite recent developments, Cyprus’ relations with important business partners continue to remain strong and provide for further prospects of growth. The meeting’s thematic units relate to the challenges and opportunities for the Russian economy in the international investment environment, Cyprus’ role as an international business centre and the prospects of closer collaboration between the two countries. Also under discussion will be matters relating to Russia and its global influence, viability and growth, risk assessment and opportunities in the investment environment, the development of energy sources and substructures, and matters relating to tourism.
During the official dinner that will be held on Sunday night, a speech will be given by President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades, Deputy Minister of Economic Development in Russia Igor E. Manylov and the Chairman of the Bank of Moscow and Russian Business Council for Cooperation with Cyprus, Mikhail V. Kuzovlev.
