Final call for British Businesswoman of the Year awards

Organisers are about to close the entries for the annual British Businesswoman of the Year Awards in Cyprus that will be announced during a prize-giving ceremony at Elea Golf Estate in Paphos on Friday, March 1.

Judges are searching for British female entrepreneurs who have significantly contributed to the professional and arts communities in Cyprus, generating awareness for the environment, embarking on training and self-development courses and enhancing good community relations.
Entries are open for two categories: Business Owners; and, Top Professionals.

Founded in 2006 by Janice Ruffle and administrated by CAS – Cyprus Awards Schemes – LS Business Consultants Ltd, the award is the only one of its kind in Cyprus and has rapidly gained prestigious awareness in its objective to celebrate British female entrepreneurs in Cyprus.

There are now five annual awards celebrating female entrepreneurship: The Cyprus Business Woman of the Year Award – Crème de la Crème, The British Business Woman of the Year Award, The South African Business Woman of the Year Award, Cypriot Business Woman of the Year Award and The Russian Business Woman of the Year Award.

The judges for the British Business Woman of the Year 2013 award are Savvas Savvides and Yiannis Fanides of Michael Kyprianou & Co LLC and Maureen Watt, Angel Guardians Funeral Home. The Financial Mirror is a media sponsor.
