Cyprus Forex market at $3.5 trln a year

The forex trading market in Cyprus, probably the most rapidly growing segment that is driving the boom in the ‘financial services’ sector, is estimated to be worth about 3.5 trln dollars a year, accoding to special survey conducted by the Financial Mirror.

 

This is a figure that is expected to rise to 5 trln very soon, with the arrival of new global players on the scene, such as Denmark’s Saxo Bank that opened shop in Limassol last month.
