IMF delegation to visit Cyprus

An IMF delegation, headed by Wes McGrew, will visit Cyprus from 29 September to 12 October in the framework of the annual evaluation of the country’s economy.

According to an official press release issued by the Central Bank of Cyprus, the delegation will hold meetings with the Finance Minister Kikis Kazamias, the Governor of the Central Bank Athanasios Orphanides, as well as other government officials. The delegation will meet also with other bank officials as well as representatives of trade unions and employers’ organizations.

The IMF final report on Cyprus will be published at a later stage, after the relevant discussion at the Executive Board expected to take place in November.
