Cyprus motor regs drop 15.7% y/y in May

Registrations of motor vehicles dropped compared with the year earlier by 15.7% in May, to 3,370 vehicles, compared with 3,998 in May 2010.
Motor registrations have been falling for well over two years, having dropped by 12.5% in 2010 and 25.7% in 2009.
For the period January-May 2011, registrations fell by 12.9% to 16,489, from 18.939 in January – May 2010.
Registrations of private saloon cars decreased by 12.8% to 11,814 from 13,550 in January – May 2010.
