Cyprus construction material prices climb in Jan-Apr

The price index of construction materials rose by 3.91% over the same period of the previous year in January-April.
The biggest percentage increases have been seen in building iron, up 25.8%; bitumen asphalt, up 18.5%; and asphalt concrete, up 17.3%.
In April alone, the index reached 125.35 (base year 2005=100.00), recording an increase of 1.13% over the previous month.
