Drop in Cyprus outbound tourism in Feb

February saw a drop in outbound tourism, with the number of residents of Cyprus returning from a trip abroad falling by 2.4% to 69,325 compared with 71,045 in February 2010.
Among the main countries there was a large fall of 14.7% in the number of trips to Greece (24,807 in February 2011 compared with 29,068 in February 2010.
Trips to the UK rose slightly by 0.7% to 15,451.
Only 480 people visited Egypt, marking a fall of 56.8% compared with February 2010.
