Cyprus and Damascus Stock Exchange sign MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Damascus Securities Exchange and the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) was signed on Monday 18th of October 2010 at the Cyprus Stock Exchange’s premises in Nicosia.

According to a press release issued here today by CSE, the scope of the MoU covers various areas of co-operation between the two Exchanges, including, inter alia, consultation services, exchange of information, clearing and settlement issues, listing issues, as well as issues relating to market participants.

The Memorandum of Understanding was singed by the Chairmen of the two Organisations, Rateb Shallah on behalf of the Damascus Securities Exchange and by George Koufaris, on behalf of the Cyprus Stock Exchange.
