Local pharmaceuticals giant Remedica, with exports totaling EUR 45 mln to more than 100 countries, is supporting the Association of Multiple Sclerosis Patients and Friends as part of its 50th anniversary celebration this year.
The company’s CEO, Charalambos Pattichis, made the announcement at a sponsorship signing ceremony with the Association’s president, Lenia Takoushi-Christoforou, where he announced his company’s commitment to the Association by sponsoring all their fund-raising activities, that include the Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week (May 25-29), a tea afternoon, public interest lectures and a concert with a famous Greek singer.
Pattichis added that Remedica’s contribution has no ulterior motive or commercial interest, as the company does not manufacture any medication for the treatment of MS.
