Greek PM calls EU support deal a great success

Greece's Prime Minister said on Wednesday that an EU agreement struck last month to help the country avoid bankruptcy was a great success and rendered its fiscal situation manageable.

"This agreement is clearly a great success for our country and the European Union," Prime Minister George Papandreou told a cabinet meeting. "With this safety net we are in a situation which is manageable under any circumstances."
