Cypriot delegation begins contacts in Berlin to promote tourism

Α Cypriot delegation, headed by Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Antonis Paschalides, began Wednesday contacts in Berlin to attract tourism from the German market.

According to an announcement of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO), the Cypriot delegation held contacts with tour operators in the Cypriot pavilion at the ITB Berlin exhibition.

The delegation will meet Thursday some of the most important tour operators such as TUI, THOMAS COOK and REWE.

It is expected that after tomorrow’s meeting it will be possible to draw conclusions concerning this year’s perspectives in relation to the German market, the announcement says.

The Cypriot Minister held a meeting with Greek Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Angela Gerekou and President of the Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT), during which they reviewed tourist relations between Cyprus and Greece and agreed on strengthening and broadening the cooperation between the two countries.
