Cyprus Tourism Minister to visit Tourist Exhibitions in Berlin and Moscow

Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister Antonis Paschalides is flying to Berlin heading a delegation comprising Cyprus Tourism Organization’s (CTO) Ministry officials, with a view to participate at Berlin Tourist Exhibition ITB 2010.

Later on Paschalides and the other members of the Cypriot delegation will fly to Moscow on Friday 12 to attend Moscow Tourist Exhibition ITM 2010.

An official press release issued here said that Paschalides’ visit to the Tourist Exhibitions of Berlin and Moscow are paid within the framework of the Ministry’s intensive contacts in cooperation with CTO for the increase of the tourist flow to Cyprus.

During his visit to Berlin, Paschalides will have a series of meetings with important tourist operators both from Germany and other major markets.

During his stay in Moscow Paschalides will be present at a reception to be organized by the Russian Tourism Ministry and he will have a meeting with the head of the Russian Tourism Organization Anatoliy Yarochkin. He will also have a number of meetings with Russian tourist operators. He will return to Cyprus on Monday.
