Director-General of Eurostat visited Cyprus

The Director-General of Eurostat, Walter Radermacher met Minister of Finance Charilaos Stavraki and state officials competent on economic issues, during his one-day visit in Cyprus, on Monday.

According to announcement, issued today by Statistical Service of Cyprus, Radermacher was informed about the statistical system of Cyprus, and the forthcoming challenges of conducting a census of agriculture in 2010 and a population census in 2011.

Radermacher met with the Minister of Finance, the Director General of the Ministry of Finance and officials from the Central Bank of Cyprus, while he had contacts with the Director and senior management of the Statistical Service of Cyprus.
