The new oncology centre is being developed by the Leptos Group of Companies within the framework agreement signed with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre (UPMC)as part of the Neapolis UPMC Health Centre. It will operate within the Iasis Hospital which was recently acquired by the Leptos Group and will be upgraded, equipped and staffed for this cause. The centre is expected to be ready at the beginning of next year offering services not only to Cypriots but also to residents living abroad.
The specialised oncology centre at the Iasis Hospital will be staffed with medical and other personnel both from Cyprus and abroad and will operate under the management of the UPMC Medical Centre.
