Work will begin at the end of summer to transform the old Aqua Marina hotel into a brand new commercial project in the heart of Limassol, the multi-storey Marina Tower office complex and rooftop restaurant. The project should be ready in two years.
The agreement to develop the project signed by the owners, Real Chester Group, Executive Manager Moshe Bar-Zur and Vert & Blanc Constructions Managing Director George Hadjigeorgiou.
Vert & Blanc has been involved in some of the biggest projects in Cyprus including the Mall of Cyprus, the IKEA shopping centre and the Engomi Shopping Mall in Nicosia, as well as the Aqua Park Resort and the Mitsubishi service facilities in Limassol.
The Marina Tower (www.marina-tower.com) complex will consist of three buildings with a green plaza at its centre, a unique space-saving parking system and low-energy technology for heating and cooling.
The seafront section will include the nine-storey tower with the lobby and shops on the ground floor and offices on seven levels with a roof terrace reserved as a restaurant.
The building facing Anexartisias Street will be four levels high, with a large shop on the ground floor and offices on the upper levels with views of the old city and the sea.
