Hellenic Bank nets online bank award

Hellenic Bank’s online NetBankiong service has won Global Finance magazine’s award for “Best Integrated Consumer Bank Site” in the regional category for Best Consumer Internet Banks.
The prize was announced in New York and the magazines selection panel said that “winning banks were selected based on the following criteria: strength of strategy for attracting and servicing online customers, success in getting clients to use web offerings, growth of online customers, breadth of product offerings, evidence of tangible benefits gained from Internet initiatives, and web site design and functionality.”
Hellenic NetBanking was ranked with regional winners for other categories such as Best Online Consumer Credit Site (HSBC), Best Website Design (Yapi Kredi), Best Bill Payment and Presentment (DnB NorBank ASA). Local winners included Marfin Popular Bank in Cyprus and EFG Eurobank Ergasias in Greece.
