Cyprus makes donation to children’s hospital in Egypt

Cyprus' Ambassador to Egypt Costas Leontiou visited the hospital for children with cancer in Cairo and handed to Director Hany Hussein a cheque for 100,000 Egyptian pounds.

The sum is part of the donation of the Republic of Cyprus through Elsie Christofia, wife of President of the Republic Demetris Christofias, which had been announced during her visit to the hospital, in the framework of an official visit to the country by President Christofias, last month.
