Cyprus motor regs fall 13.9% y/y in April

Motor vehicle registrations fell for a fourth straight month in April, decreasing by 13.9% over April 2008 to 4,671.
Registrations of private saloon cars fell in the same period by 13.6% to 3,297.
For the first four months of the year, the total registrations of motor vehicles decreased by 20.8% to 17,779 in January – April 2009, from 22,452 in January-– April 2008.
Private saloon cars decreased to 13,276 from 16,441 in January – April 2008, recording a decrease of 19.3%.
