Axios Systems, a leading provider of IT Service Management (ITSM) software, is continuing to grow across the globe, with new offices, expanded teams, a burgeoning partner-base and significant client wins.
The business, founded by Greek Cypriot Tasos Symeonides, is continuing to grow as a result of heightened interest in the cost reduction and risk management that Axios’ software assyst can deliver to companies that are becoming increasingly disillusioned with the framework vendors (HP, IBM, CA and BMC) and look to the out-of-the-box benefits that software such as assyst can deliver. Immediate benefits companies can expect include a very fast deployment and a much more rapid return on investment (ROI). Additional strengths include the ability to run the software dynamically in multiple languages, including Arabic, French, Spanish and Greek.
With its development centre in Nicosia, Axios has an extensive roster of 300 government organisations using its Assyst software in the UK, Canada, the European Commission and the United Nations. In December, the company expanded its relationship to 14 departments of the Canadian government through a deal with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
The private sector client roster includes Virgin Money, BT, Aviva, Bosch, Marks & Spencer, Hilton Hotels, and Abbott Labs among others.
“The economic downturn is forcing companies to become smarter with their IT operations management by putting comprehensive service management solutions in place that enable companies to easily bring about Continued Service Improvement through ITIL-based best practices,” said Tasos Symeonides, CEO and founder of Axios.
Founded in Edinburgh in 1988, Axios led the way in the adoption of best practice process framework ITIL globally, by building a single piece of software that was based completely around the best practice framework. Today, 12 of the Assyst modules have been verified by Pink Elephant’s PinkVERIFY service as compatible with industry best practices (Based on ITIL V3), all of which are incorporated into a single, out-of-the-box application.
