Industrial turnover up 3.2% in November

The industrial turnover index in November rose by 3.2% compared with November 2007 according to the latest figures from the Statistical Service.
Industrial turnover comprises mining, quarrying, manufacturing, electricity, gas and water supply.
In the period January to November 2008 the index recorded a rise of 13.2% over the same period of the previous year.
The manufacturing index in November rose by 0.1% compared with November 2007.
