Emergency email for air passengers in difficulty

European Commissioner responsible for Transport Antonio Tajani has activated an emergency email address [email protected] to which travellers can directly address their queries in case of strikes, flight cancellations, prolonged delays and overbooking.
At a time when many travellers experience inconveniences throughout Europe, the Commission is offering to its citizens this concrete and easily accessible service. "Community rules on passenger rights need to be rigorously applied" stated Antonio Tajani. "The European Commission will provide precise information to those making use of this email address on how to exercise these rights," said the vice president.
