EMEA online gaming to hit $15 bln by 2011

OneCard, the Arab World's largest multi-function secured e-payment services, has embarked on an aggressive marketing campaign in the Middle East to capitalise on the strong growth potential of the region's online gaming industry, which is predicted to grow in the EMEA electronic gaming industry from USD 11.1 bln to USD 15.4 bln by 2011, according to a study by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Wilkofsky Gruen Associates.
One of OneCard's major initiatives has been an agreement to be the main sponsor for the Gaming Expo 2008, the largest gaming event in the region, which will be held at Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre this week hosting premier game developers such as Travian, Wallie Card, Smart2Pay and Playinc.
