Cyprus-Czech Republic Business Association launched

The Founding General Assembly Meeting of the Cyprus-Czech Republic Business Association took place in Nicosia, with the participation of entrepreneurs.
The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry said the establishment of the Association took place in the framework of the policy of the chamber to promote bilateral relations between Cyprus and other countries with a view to promote, extend and encourage financial, commercial and business relations and to cultivate conditions of friendship and understanding.
In his speech, KEVE President Manthos Mavrommatis referred to the traditional business ties, which Cyprus has with the Czech Republic. He also noted the unlimited opportunities of cooperation with Czech enterprises to promote services and trade between the two countries.
The Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Nicosia Jan Bondy underlined that very important business links exist between Cyprus and the Czech Republic, noting that trade between the two countries has immensely increased during recent years.
The Assembly elected the Administrative Council of the Association.
On November 4, Czech businesspersons will visit KEVE where they will have meetings with Cypriot entrepreneurs.
