Carey Group opens office in Cyprus

The Carey Group announced the establishment of Carey Group (Cyprus) Limited, a corporate, trust, domiciliation and administration business focused on the provision of comprehensive administration and domiciliation services to institutional and private equity clients.

The company’s Chief Executive Officer is Ms Andria Andreou, a UK qualified lawyer with extensive experience gained in both London and Cypriot law firms. Andria is joined by a team of multi-lingual, highly-qualified professionals all of whom have been in the corporate and trust services business for many years.

The Cyprus office will reinforce the development of the Carey Group’s existing operations in Guernsey, Alderney, Monaco, Zurich, Luxembourg and Geneva, as well as forming an integral and complimentary part of their activities. Carey Group’s presence in Europe provides local points of expertise familiar with both common law and civil law systems. The Cyprus office will bring yet another jurisdiction into the Carey Group and allow the Carey Group to better respond to client demand.
The office opens for business on 1 September 2008.
