Cyprus construction input prices accelerate in June

Inflation in construction materials prices accelerated in June, as the index for January-June rose by 10.4% year on year, compared with 9.6% in January-May.
Compared with the previous month, the price index of construction materials rose by 2.7% in June, having risen by 1.9% in May.
By far the fastest increase in the first half of the year has been seen in petroleum prices, up by 36.1% year on year.
This was followed by the prices of industrial products, up by 10.7% and wood, stone and quarrying materials, up by 9.9%.
Chemical products and the like roe by only 3.5%.
