Cytamobile-Vodafone mobile broadband gets faster with 3G/HSDPA platform

Cytamobile-Vodafone is upgrading its 3G network to Mobile Broadband ηigh speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) that will allow easier and more reliable wireless Internet access, up to eight times faster than was possible through the Cytamobile-Vodafone 3G network so far, using either a mobile phone or a computer.
Equipped with a Vodafone Mobile Connect USB modem, Cytamobile-Vodafone customers can now enjoy faster Internet access in areas with 3G/HSDPA network coverage, an area that exceeds 55% of the island-wide and 80% of the population. The network covers the central and greater areas of all towns, the free Famagusta district and large communities such as Yeri, Tseri, Nisou, Dhali, Kokkintrimithia, Paliometocho, Peristerona, Astromeritis, Palodhia, Platres, Trimiklini, Kakopetria, Evrychou, Polis Chrysochous, Pegeia and others.
Internet access is also available abroad through more than 160 networks in 75 countries with which Cytamobile-Vodafone has 3G/GPRS international roaming agreements.
With the new packages on offer from June 1, Internet access from the computer and/or the mobile phone is cheaper.
Mobile Broadband for the computer is provided with connection to one of the Pay Monthly Data Plans, Tier Based or 700ΜΒ, 2GB or 10GB and the Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G Broadband USB modem is available for €79.

Internet and Vodafone live! access on the mobile phone is provided with connection to one of the Cytamobile-Vodafone pay monthly or pay as you go plans (Light, Classic, Business 300, Business 600 or soeasy) and HSDPA compatible mobile phone, available at special prices from any cytashop.
Customers can access the Internet within Cyprus with the new reduced Mobile Data charge or by getting one of the Cytamobile-Vodafone Mobile Data Packages according to their needs.
