CYTA receives “Social Excellence Award”

The Cyprus Telecommunication Authority (CYTA) has been awarded the “Social Excellence Award” for promoting and implementing programmes that reconcile family and professional life.
The prize was awarded to CYTA by the Development Partnership “Pandora” as part of the Community Initiative EQUAL.
Stavros Kremmos, Chairman of the CYTA Board of Directors, received the prize from the Minister of Labour and Social Insurance, Sotiroula Charalambous.
According to a press release, the “Flexible Working Hours”, the “Personal Working Hours”, the “Teleworking”, and enhanced “social services” and “social solidarity” are among the programmes which CYTA has implemented to reconcile family and professional life.
CYTA, the press release added, through the implementation of these programmes shows its respect for the individual characteristics and needs of its staff.
