Cyprus motor registrations up 14.8% in Jan-Feb

Registrations of motor vehicles continued to rise fast in the first two months of 2008, rising by 14.8% compared with January-February 2007.  

The total registrations of motor vehicles reached 11,256 in January-February 2008, up from 9,842 in January-February 2007.

Registrations of private saloon cars increased to 8,668 from 7,725 in January-February 2007, rising by 12.2%.

In 2007 motor vehicle registrations rose by 33.1%.
