CSE active accounts 7783 in January

There were only 7783 active investor accounts during January 2008 who purchased equities on the Cyprus Stock Exchange at least once while the daily average of active investor accounts was 1072, according to the January Bulletin of the CSE.

The CSE had a total of 260.071 investor accounts of whom 169.622 or 65.22% owned only 1 title, while 73.285 or 28.18% owned 2-5 titles. Those owning between 6-10 titles were 12.913 or 4.97% and those in excess of 10 titles were 4251 representing 1.63% of the total.
