Cyprus industrial turnover outstrips output in Jan-Nov

The industrial turnover index (mining and quarrying, manufacturing, electricity, gas and water supply) for November 2007 reached 149.4 (base 2000=100), recording an increase of 11.0% compared with November 2006.

For the period January-November 2007 the index recorded a rise of 8.3% compared with the same period of the previous year.

Industrial output in the same period rose by 3.2%

For manufacturing, the index for November 2007 reached 147.9 units, recording an increase of 10.3% compared to November 2006.
