Aspis Holdings to pay 4 cent dividend

The Board of Directors of Aspis Holdings Public Co Ltd (ASP) has declared a 4 euro cent interim dividend, with the cum-dividend date set for February 11, 2008. The payment of the dividend in cash or shares will be carried out on Tuesday, March 11, 2008.
The Company is calling an EGM for February 22, 2008 at the Company’s Head Office to authorise the issue of up to 7 mln news shares at a price per share that will be determined based on the average closing price of the share from February 4, 2008 to February 8, 2008 minus a discount of 15%. The beneficiaries are the shareholders who have selected to reinvest the net sum of the interim dividend in new shares after the deduction of taxes.

Aspis reported net profit of EUR 26.1 mln for 2007, in line with its official forecast.
