Cyprus outbound travel up 18% in November

On the basis of the results of the Passengers’ Survey, 67,999 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in November 2007, compared with 57,626 in the corresponding month of 2006, recording an increase of 18.0%.

In November 2007 there was an increase of 9.8% in the trips of residents to Greece (from 24,337 in November 2006 to 26,724 in November 2007), while there was a 12.5% increase to the United Kingdom (from 11,486 in November 2006 to 12,917 in November 2007).

In January-November 993,222 residents travelled abroad, compared with 932,116 in the whole of 2006.
