In the third quarter of 2007, the Air Berlin Group, including LTU, which has been fully consolidated since August 2007, recorded a sales volume of EUR 857.6 mln, i.e. a 7.2% increase over the corresponding period of the previous year (EUR 799.9 mln).

EBITDAR (Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization and leasing
expenses) increased by 12.5% from EUR 155.4 mln to 174.8 mln, and EBIT (Earnings before interest and taxes) increased by 0.7% from EUR 69.6 mln to 69.8 mln.

Due to the improved financial and tax results, net profit increased from EUR 50.9 mln to 60.8 mln for a 19.4% increase.

Non-recurrent charges for the integration and restructuring measures relating to LTU amounted to EUR 13.2 mln. Air Berlin continues to count on the synergies from the acquisition of LTU to take effect in 2008.
