Mellon Group companies featured in the 2007 Europe’s 500 List

Mellon Financial Products Support (MFP) and Mellon Collection Services, members of Mellon Group of Companies in Greece, were recognized for their drive, innovation and their successful entrepreneurship in 2007 Europe’s 500, the annual list which selects the 500 most dynamic companies from 24 European countries and is published by Europe’s 500 – Entrepreneurs for Growth.

MFP was ranked 38th among 500 European companies and 2nd among 14 Greek companies listed in 2007 Europe‘s 500. MFP is a unique provider of business process outsourcing services, uniquely combining processes, human resources and technologies to support and effectively implement a wide range of front-office and back-office operations on behalf of its customers.

Mellon Collection Services was included in the list of European companies with outstanding business growth and employment for the second consecutive year and was ranked 434th for Europe and 11th for Greece. Mellon Collection Services SA was established in 1997 with the objective to provide world-class debt management and collections services to companies that provide credit lines to facilitate transactions with their corporate customers and consumers.

Awards will be presented to the winning companies in recognition of their performance and contribution to European economic welfare on 24 November in Prague.

The annual Europe’s 500 Listing identifies 500 of the most innovative, growth-focused and entrepreneurial, mid-size companies from across 28 European countries: 25 European Union member states plus Iceland, Norway and Switzerland. Companies from Bulgaria and Romania will be eligible for the 2008 edition. Companies from all 28 eligible countries were considered in the research and selection process resulting in 24 countries being represented in the final Listing. No companies from Cyprus, Luxembourg, Malta and Slovakia were able to meet the full eligibility criteria.
