Lufthansa German Airlines announced it will introduce a new regular flight between Larnaca and Munich next Spring. Starting on March 14, the route will be served three times weekly and will take off from Larnaca on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 3.25 a.m., arriving at 6.00 a.m. at Munich International Airport to connect to nearly all of the 190 worldwide destinations.

The inbound flight leaves Munich at 21.30 and arrives in Larnaca at 2am for a layover of just over an hour.

“When we introduced the flight to Munich for only four weeks in August this year, we did not expect such an overwhelming success”, said Kathrin Pfeiler, General Manager for Cyprus.

“The flight has been well accepted by the Cypriot market and we expect the same  high demand on this route throughout the whole summer season 2008”, she continued.

The route will be operated by an Airbus A320 and fare prices for a return ticket in economy class from Larnaca to Munich start with CYP 80 plus ticket service charge.
