Marfin Popular warrants to expire

All warrant holders (2005/2007) of Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd are reminded that pursuant to the warrant issue terms, warrants are exercisable during November 1 – 20, 2007.
The exercise price is CYP6.43 – EUR10.99 per share and the beneficiaries have the right to acquire one share for every warrant they hold. The shares that will be allocated from the exercise will rank pari passu with the existing shares. The new shares will be credited in the beneficiaries’ accounts and will start trading in the CSE after the safeguard of the required approvals by the CSE Council.
The warrant holders are reminded that this is the last period of exercise and all unexercised warrants will be written-off. The last day of their trading in the CSE is October 29, 2007. Investors, who will acquire warrants until October 29 and will not have the application, must contact the Shares and Bonds Department, tel. 00357 22363380 or any other branch during the period of exercise, showing their ID card.
Pursuant to the provisions of article 5.2.3 paragraph 9 of the CSE Council Decision published in the Gazette on 31/12/2005 (KPD 596/2005 as amended), CPB wish to announce that before the announcement, the trading price of the share in the CSE on 8/10/2007 stood at EUR9.76 – CYP5.71.
