Cyprus harmonised inflation up to 2.3% in September

Figures produced by the Statistical Service for EU-harmonised inflation show that the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) rose by 1.3% month on month in September, compared with 0.5% in August.

Compared with September 2006, the HICP inflation rate was 2.3% compared with 2.2% in August 2007.

The consumer price inflation rate in the same period rose from 2.5% in August to 2.6% in September.
