Cyprus – Arab League initial MoU

Cyprus and the Arab League have initialed a Memorandum of Understanding with a view to begin a dialogue and continuous cooperation with the Arab states in the cultural and the political sphere.
The MOU was initialed at a meeting in New York between Cyprus’ Foreign Minister Erato Kozakou-Macoullis and the Arab League General Secretary Amr Mousa.
Marcoullis, in New York for the UN General Assembly, also met with Acting Foreign Minister of Norway Raymon Johansen whom she briefed on the latest development in Cyprus.
The two discussed bilateral relations as well as a financial agreement between the two countries and its implementation.
On Monday, Marcoullis met with members of the Jewish American Committee.
