Construction materials prices up 5% in Jan-Aug

The price index of construction materials 2007 reached 140.51 (base year 2000=100) in August, recording an increase of 0.62% over the previous month.
For the period January – August 2007, the index recorded an increase of 5.0% over the corresponding period of the previous year.
