CIIM, RICS to offer executive training in real estate in Cyprus

The Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), are joining forces to offer the Advanced Executive Programme in Real Estate; this is a unique course, designed to equip real estate professionals with the necessary new and comprehensive knowledge and skills, to answer continuing challenges in their profession effectively and successfully.

The programme will run from September to December and consists of eight modules, of sixteen hours duration each, divided over two days. Sessions are held on Fridays and Saturdays so as to ensure minimum disruption in a busy professional’s time schedule and precious leisure time. Participants can take any number of individual modules, however they are strongly advised to complete the whole course to benefit fully.

The world-class faculty on the CIIM/RICS programme are all highly reputable professors at top business schools like Wharton Business School in the US, Cass Business School, College of Estate Management and Reading University in the UK. All the course instructors have extensive industry experience, with internationally known Real Estate firms like Lang LaSalle, Knight Frank, CB Richard Ellis and Credit Suisse First Boston. The subjects covered by the programme range from Real Estate Entrepreneurship & Strategy, Market Analysis & Forecasting, Appraisal & Valuation, Performance Measurement & Index Construction, to Real Estate Development, Investment Analysis, Finance & Risk Management, European and Cyprus Property Law and Taxation.

The joint CIIM/RICS Advanced Executive Programme in Real Estate carries the approval of the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus and subsidies are available for participants who satisfy the HRDA criteria.
