USB, ATL and COS report higher profits

Universal Bank Pcl (USB) issued its 1H07 results, posting a net profit of EUR 2.6 mln compared to EUR 813.000 ayear ago in the same period. The improvement was attributed to higher net interest income (+55% YoY) and lower provision levels (-23% YoY). EPS was recorded at EUR 0.171 compared to EUR 0.053 in 1H06.

 

Atlantic Insurance Pcl (ATL) issued its 1H07 results, posting a net profit of EUR 3.8 mln, up 65.3% YoY compared to a net profit of EUR 2.3 mln in 1H06. EPS was recorded at EUR 0.0984 compared to EUR 0.0595 in 1H06.

 

Cosmos Insurance Pcl (COS) issued its 1H07 results, posting a net profit of EUR

687.000 compared to a net profit of EUR 664.000 in 1H06. EPS was recorded at CYP EUR 0.0382 compared to EUR 0.0369 in 1H06.

 

Cyprus Cement Pcl (CCC) issued its 1H07 results, posting a net profit of CYP EUR 1.78 mln compared to a net profit of EUR 741.000 in 1H06. EPS was recorded at EUR 0.015 compared to EUR 0.0063 in 1H06.
